I am the mother of a chronic alcoholic. By the time I met Aine, I had spent years living with the disease, trying my best to support the alcoholic who had been in and out of treatment centers, hospital stays and outpatient treatment program's.
By then I had myself attended many support groups, most of the rehab facilities had family supports, I attended open meetings, and even went through a twelve-week program myself, but I still felt enormous anxiety, riddled with guilt and loaded down with self-doubt.
My session's with Aine brought me clarity, lifted the weight of guilt and self-doubt and enabled me to see life differently. Aine, is both professional and friendly, she has the ability to relate, to truly understand and to challenge without blaming. Aine wants to help, and it shows in everything she does, she is really generous with her time giving all she can to her clients. She uses all the resources at her disposal to inform and support. Aine has a wealth of information and her love of what she does keeps her up to date with everything she does. Because of Aine I am now in a support group that actually works for me.
